Abstract
⺠A novel series of heterocyclic scaffold carrying sydnone moiety were prepared. ⺠The Schiff base and Mannich bases were evaluated for biological activity. ⺠Electron releasing group in sydnone moiety emerged as most potent molecule. ⺠Mannich bases carrying piperidine and morpholine showed excellent activity.
