Abstract
⺠In this study we synthesize (E) stilbenes. ⺠The compounds were tested for their antitumor activity using 8 different human cancer cell lines. âºÂ dSeveral derivatives are cytotoxic; one of them even in a nanomolar concentration. ⺠The compounds act by apoptosis.
