Abstract
⺠A series of 5â²-deoxy-5-fluorocytidine derivatives synthesized in two-step process. ⺠We have characterized anti-cancer activity of 5â²-deoxy-5-fluorocytidine derivatives. ⺠Title compounds were non-mutagenic to Salmonella typhimurium tester strain. ⺠HeLa, NCI-69, PZ-HPV-7, MCF-7 cancer cell lines are highly sensitive to 5d, 5e. ⺠5d & 5e Showed potent antitumor activity compared to capecitabine in in vivo system.
