Abstract
⺠Atom-efficient, solvent-free synthesis of trifluoromethyl hexahydropyrimidines. ⺠Economical and environmentally benign one pot three component synthesis by grinding. ⺠This protocol proved to be more effective than classical Biginelli reaction. ⺠Nine compounds exhibited remarkable biological activity compared with tetracycline.
