Abstract
⺠2,3-Dideoxy hex-2-enopyranosid-4-uloses as promising new anti-tubercular agents. ⺠Exhibit in vitro activity against M. tb H37Rv in MIC range of 0.78 μg/mL-25 μg/mL. ⺠Small and simple molecules which could be easily synthesized from d-glucose. ⺠5g having MIC (0.78 μg/mL) and SI (13.5) identified as a promising lead molecule.
