Abstract
⺠A strategy was proposed for the development of organometallic antimalarial drugs. ⺠New series of substituted ferrocenylpyrrolo[1,2-a]quinoxalines were designed. ⺠Compounds were tested for their in vitro activity upon Plasmodium falciparum strains. ⺠Promising pharmacological results against FcB1, K1 and F32 strains were obtained.
