Abstract
⺠We report regioselective deacylation of bergenin pentaacetate using chemoenzymatic synthesis. ⺠All the derivatives produced by the present scheme are new to literature. ⺠Most of these derivatives have pronounced DPPH radical scavenging and antimicrobial activities. ⺠The derivatives promoted xanthine oxidase catalyzing ability against xanthine to form uric acid.
