Abstract
► We report regioselective deacylation of bergenin pentaacetate using chemoenzymatic synthesis. ► All the derivatives produced by the present scheme are new to literature. ► Most of these derivatives have pronounced DPPH radical scavenging and antimicrobial activities. ► The derivatives promoted xanthine oxidase catalyzing ability against xanthine to form uric acid.
