Abstract
âºResults confirm our hypothesis that molecular symmetry and the presence of a selenomethyl moiety is a valid approach to obtain potent new antitumor agents. âºFive compounds showed GI50 values lower than 1 μM and some of these compounds were more cytotoxic than the reference drugs currently used in the treatment of cancer patients.
