Abstract
The generalized differential quadrature (GDQ) method is used to obtain the numerical results of two-layer cross-ply laminated tubes under thermal vibration. Piping components in the electric power industry should be understood and designed to resist the thermal fatigue cracking. In the analyses of the thermally induced vibration of a thermal sleeve under linear temperature load ΔTΔT, the computational GDQ method provides a method for calculating the natural frequency, displacement and thermal stress.
