Abstract
Linseed oil is epoxidized by chemoenzymatic method using the immobilized Candida antarctica Lipase B; partial and complete Xylitol functionalized monomers of epoxidized linseed oil are synthesized using ZnCl2 as a catalyst and subsequently thermally crosslinked to obtain the sweet linseed polyols which are characterized by thermal and spectroscopic techniques.62
