Abstract
A phytochemical investigation of the aerial parts of M. parvifolia led to the isolation of eight previously undescribed glycosides of naphthohydroquinones. The mRNA expression of p53 in A2780â¯cells was significantly increased by these compounds at the concentration of 50â¯Î¼M compared with the blank control group.259
