Lanostane triterpenes from the mushroom Ganoderma resinaceum and their inhibitory activities against α-glucosidase

Eighteen previously undescribed lanostane triterpenes and thirty known analogues were isolated from the fruiting bodies of Ganoderma resinaceum. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analysis and comparison of their spectroscopic data with those reported in the literature. Six compounds showed significant inhibitory effect against α-glucosidase compared with the positive control drug acarbose.185
