Abstract
Rebound of steel micro-particle was evidenced upon impact on the poly (urethane urea), PUU 532-1000, elastomer at strain rate â¼108/s. PUU exhibits a moderate improvement in resistance against penetration than polyurea PU 1000, more pronounced at higher speeds, where the observed dynamic stiffening characteristics corroborates well with the corresponding segmental dynamics data determined via broadband dielectric relaxation measurements.156
