Abstract
Herein, tadpole-shaped magnetic block copolymer based on pyridinium FeCl4 was prepared by post-modification of POSS-PSt-b-P4VP block copolymer. The as prepared polymer bulk and film was paramagnetic with susceptibility of 15.4Â ÃÂ 10â6 emu gâ1. However the susceptibility after self-assembly in thin film was greatly increased to 27.5Â ÃÂ 10â6 emu gâ1. The increase in magnetic susceptibility was ascribed from the self-assembly induced ordered alignment of magnetic groups.329
