Abstract
The theoretical investigation on the grafting of maleic anhydride onto polyethylene during UV radiation cross-linking reaction process is accomplished at B3LYP/6-311 + G(d,p) level. It is expected to provide reliable information for development insulation materials of high-voltage cable exceed 500 kV in real applications.186
