Abstract
The S-doped MoO2/C nanofibers (S-doped carbon and MoO2) are prepared through a sulfuration reaction. For one thing, the introduction of sulfur into the carbon structure can significantly enhance charge transportation velocity and provide more additional activity sites to accommodate Na+. For another, it is able for molybdenum disulfide with higher theoretical capacity to promote the Na+ storage. So we investigate the S-doped MoO2/C nanofibers as for SIBs, the electrode yields a high reversible capacity at 0.1 A g−1 after 50 cycles (269 mA h g−1). Even at 5 A g−1, it maintains superior long-term cycling stability and holds 86 mA h g−1 over 1200th cycle. The whole synthetic process is high yielding, eco-friendly, making it suitable for large-scale production applications.
