Abstract
We report Photoionization calculations on the Ne-like (ZÂ =Â 27-56) ions for resonance energies of the 1s22s2p6np 1P series. The calculations are performed in the framework of the Screening constant by unit nuclear charge (SCUNC) method. Good agreements are found with available literature data for the Ne-like Cu19+, Kr26+ and Xe34+ ions. New data for the Ne-like (ZÂ =Â 27, 28, 30-35, 37-43, 45-56) ions are tabulated as useful guidelines for modelling astrophysical and laboratory plasmas.
