Abstract
Dy3+ and Tm3+ ions in the host of MgNb2O6 emit intense yellow and blue light under UV and VUV excitation with host-sensitized which attributed to charge transfer bands of [NbO6]7-. With increasing Tm3+ concentration, emission colors of MgNb2O6: 0.045Dy3+, zTm3+ phosphors can be appropriately tuned from yellow to warm-white.257
