Abstract
In the paper the axi-symmetrical thermoelastic stability of free double-layered spherical shells at uniform temperature is considered. The basic equations are derived from Reissner's theory of thin shells and assumptions that materials of the layers are linear thermoelastic. The conditions for the buckling of shells are determined. The temperature-deflection diagrams are calculated by using the collocation method.
