Abstract
In this work, the scope of scattering theory was expanded that the scattering of partially coherent radially polarized beams upon a deterministic media has been analyzed for the first time by application of the theory of first-order Born approximation. Influence of several factors, including incident beams' correlation width δ and transverse width Ï0, deterministic medium's effective radius ÏR, in addition to the observation azimuth Ï on the scattered spectral distribution in the far zone has been examined in detail. Some meaningful and interesting results obtained here may further enrich the scattering theory and find applications in remote sensing, medical diagnosis, and obtaining the structure information of a deterministic medium.
