Abstract
⺠This paper examines weakly non-linear acoustic waves in power-law fluids. ⺠Exact traveling waves solutions are presented. ⺠The existence of compact and algebraic kinks is established. ⺠A generalized version of Burgers' equation is derived. ⺠Connections between power-law fluids and finite-scale theory are noted.
