Abstract
Phenothiazinyl units have been covalently attached to graphene oxide (GO) by nitrene insertion onto CC bonds. Laser flash photolysis of this material indicates that tethering of phenothiazinyl units to GO enhances significantly the interaction with respect to mixtures of both components, leading to the observation of photoinduced electron transfer.
