Abstract
Reduced graphene oxide / molybdenum oxide composite for aqueous hybrid symmetric supercapacitors has been described. Molybdenum oxide was obtained from sodium molybdate precursor by acidification and heat treatment method. A simple mortar homogenization method was used to bind matrix with active species. The specific capacity of the composite was as high as 262â¯F/g, with 8% capacity loss found after 1000 charge/discharge cycles. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy revealed low resistance accompanying faradaic and non-faradaic processes. Relatively high specific surface area, about 120â¯m2/g, was found for the investigated material.
