Abstract
Metallurgical material integration concept was put forward to prepare porous titanium by calciothermic reduction of porous calcium titanate without excessively high temperature and hope to develop short, low-cost and facile fabrication process. The heat generated by calcium vapor reduction of CaTiO3 made titanium particles melt and sinter to interconnect forming porous titanium in Ca-dissolved CaO-CaCl2 molten salt mixtures, as follow.140
