Abstract
The amorphous solid material of formula [ZnI2(Curc)2] (1) (Curc = curcumin) was synthesized and characterized. The complex was characterized by m.p., FT-IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. The antimicrobial activity of the complex and its polystyrene@[ZnI2(Curc)2] have been studied against the bacteria Pseudomonas aeuroginosa.109
