Abstract
Monodisperse silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) were facilely loaded on the inner and outer surface of hierarchical wrinkled mesoporous silica (WMSs) after sulfonation via an in situ chemical reduction and the obtained AgNPs@WMSs-SO3− exhibited a superior antibacterial performance to both Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
