Abstract
The nanocarrier layered double hydroxide containing the anionic form of the drug mefenamic acid (LDH-Mef) was isolated and tested by in vitro and in vivo assays. The LDH-Mef reduced mechanical hypernociception induced by the inflammatory agent carrageenan after 3-4Â h of administration compared to a saline solution.164
