Abstract
Professor Ahmed Elmarakbi recently rocked the reinforced plastics world by unveiling the world's first graphene composite structural, automotive component: a car bumper made of graphene and fiber reinforced plastics. Graphene turns out to be able to enhance the material more than previously expected, but only if you stick to rigorous standards in production and processing.
