Abstract
Huntsman Advanced Materials and Haydale Composite Solutions (Haydale) are jointly researching opportunities for developing graphene-enhanced composite solutions. Focused specifically on incorporating graphene into Huntsman's ARALDITE® epoxy resin systems, it is anticipated that the collaboration will deliver significant step change in the market for nanocomposites. Here we examine how the research program is progressing and look at whether graphene, the often described 'wonder material', is likely to live up to its promise as a viable commercial proposition.
