Abstract
- Two molecular solids containing [Zn(NCS)4]2â anion were synthesized and characterized.
- The [Zn(NCS)4]2â anions in two molecular solids form 1D chain through weak Sâ¯S interaction.
- The cations in 2 form a 1D column through CHâ¯S, CHâ¯O hydrogen bonds and pâ¯Ï interaction.
- Two molecular solids show strong fluorescence emission in the solid state at room temperature.
