Abstract
- An homogeneous layer of PPy was synthesized on the surface of poly(vinylidene fluoride) fibers.
- A core-sheath structure was obtained, and the conductivity depends on synthesis time.
- An overall dc conductivity of 70 ± 4 S mâ1, was obtained for the sample with a PPy layer of 160 ± 25 nm.
- PPy/PVDF temperature dependence of conductivity follows the Mott's variable range hopping model.
