Abstract
⺠Poly(3-methylthiophene) (P3MT) nanowires (NWs) were electrochemically synthesized and hybridized with CdSe/ZnS QDs. ⺠The PL intensities of the P3MT NW parts were enhanced after the hybridization with QDs, owing to the FRET effect. ⺠Effective energy transfer from the QDs to the de-doped P3MT NWs, confirmed by a decrease in the QDs' exciton lifetimes.
