Abstract
⺠Ferrite nanoparticles (NiFe2O4) were prepared using sol-gel auto-combustion method. ⺠Different characterization tools confirm the preparation of the ferrite nanoparticles. ⺠Magnetic multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs)/NiFe2O4 nanocomposite was prepared by physical mixing. ⺠Characterization techniques verified that nanocrystallites of the ferrite aggregated around the MWCNTs homogenously. ⺠The prepared magnetic nanocomposite was then used for the removal of aniline from aqueous solution.
