Abstract
âºÂ α-Sexithiophene growth on Ag(1 1 0) surfaces in the Stranski-Krastranov mode ⺠Initial growth of the wetting layer studied by PEEM and STM. ⺠Wetting layer is formed by two molecular layers. ⺠First layer form checkerboard and homochiral phase. ⺠Topmost layer: molecules align along [0 0 1] direction in meandering worm-like rows.
