Abstract
⺠A new hybrid battery-supercapacitor energy storage system was introduced based on self-doped polyaniline (SDPA) nanostructured as positive shared electrode. ⺠Activated carbon (AC) was used for broadening working voltage of supercapacitor. ⺠Simple construction was employed with no need DC-DC converter for voltage adjusting. ⺠Superior performance was obtained for hybrid energy storage system AC/SDPA/Zn than the pure secondary battery Zn/SDPA.
