Abstract
A highly selective polymeric sensor having melamine based poly(azomethine-urethane) structure was synthesized and developed as Mn(II) sensor. Optical measurements showed that the sensor could be used as alternative optical sensor to determine Mn(II) concentration in any aqueous sample. Possible interferences of other tested ions were found very low.
