Abstract
ⶠRedox shuttles are frequently used for overcharge protection of Li-ion batteries. ⶠA polymeric analogue of the redox shuttle 2,5-di-t-butyl-1,4-dimethoxybenzene has been prepared. ⶠThe novel polymeric analogue of the redox shuttle is a promising prototype of a new class of organic cathode materials for Li-ion batteries.
