Abstract
ⶠWe successfully synthesized polar solvent soluble polyaniline nanofibers using organic additive. ⶠThese nanofibers are soluble in water and other polar organic solvents such as ethanol. ⶠWe found that surprisingly the nanofibers have hydrogen absoption capability as high as 4.3% at 298 K and 20 atmospheric pressure. ⶠWe propose a hypothesis about the role of additive and how hydrogen can be stored in the nanofibers.
