Abstract
The improved numerical model is used to analyze the shear behaviour of a steel fibre reinforced concrete beam. The numerical simulations are compared with the experimental results in terms of the beam's global behaviour and the cracking process (number of cracks, spacing and opening). The numerical and experimental results agree well.
