Abstract
This paper presents the dielectric and electrical behavior of (Ba1-xCax)(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3 (xâ¯=â¯0.0, 0.2, 0.6, 1.0) solid solutions. The dielectric and electrical properties were investigated with respect to variation in temperature (25-250â¯Â°C) and frequency (10-970â¯kHz) using impedance analyzer. This study suggests that the relative permittivity increased with increase in Ca content up to xâ¯=â¯0.2 and then decreased for higher Ca concentration. Dielectric anomaly observed in Ær-T plots is frequency dependent which indicates that the relaxation in the system is due to electrons trapped in oxygen vacancies The occurrence of maxima of Z" and M" at different frequencies indicate the presence of Non Debye type relaxation in the studied materials. The purposed materials are potential candidate for multilayer capacitor applications.
