Abstract
The corrosion-resistance properties of modified ultra-thin carbon paper (CP) different graphene oxide (GO) content used in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) are studied for the first time. Results show that CP with 1 wt% GO has distinguished corrosion-resistance property (corrosion current: 5.539E â 8A.cmâ2, minimum weight loss and contact angle variation). And mechanism analysis was found that the CP-1GO-P had uniform florine coating on some area of carbon fiber while T-CP-P has little. Moreover, the addition of GO could introduce more CO and CO groups which interact with the florine atom, thus can strengthen the bonding of PTFE and matrix carbon effectively.
