Abstract
⺠First systematic report on acid corrosion behavior of highly-crystallizable glass composites. ⺠Comparative report on different corrosion behaviors between Al2O3 and BaTiO3 fillers. ⺠Involvement of crystalline phase in corrosion, with the residual glass after crystallization. ⺠Preferential leaching of crystallized borates over titanates is evidently observed. ⺠Highly extensive corrosion, with higher levels of leaching in HCl than H2SO4.
