Abstract
⺠Weight loss rate of bulk glassy alloy (Fe44.3Cr5Co5Mo12.8Mn11.2C15.8B5.9)98.5Y1.5 in strong acids is constant in time. ⺠Carbon accumulates at corroding alloy surface. ⺠Characteristic morphological features on the micro- and nano-scale. ⺠In situ AFM is very effective in studying corrosion phenomena on metallic glasses.
