Abstract
⺠The crystallization behavior of a Fe-based amorphous coating is investigated. ⺠Two kinds of morphologies of crystalline phases at different regions are found. ⺠Crystallization leads to the degradation of the corrosion resistance. ⺠Corrosion mainly occurs around the carbides for the crystallized coatings. ⺠A chromate treatment is effective for the recovery of the corrosion resistance.
