Abstract
⺠Electrodeposition of polypyrrole doped with salicylate anions on copper. ⺠Assessment of the corrosion protection properties of the polymer coating. ⺠Corrosion potential more positive and smaller corrosion currents for the coated Cu. ⺠OCP of the coated Cu shifted towards more positive potential and stable for weeks. ⺠Ability of the polymer to prevent copper dissolution confirmed by EIS measurements.
