Abstract
⺠The analysis of the susceptibility to corrosion of zinc-based alloys was performed. ⺠The corrosion resistance was analyzed by EIS as a principal technique. ⺠The corrosion susceptibility is a complex function which depends on several factors. ⺠Even at higher wt.%Al the resistance to corrosion depends on the microstructure. ⺠The way in which aluminium is distributed affects the response to corrosion.
