Abstract
- Nano crystalline RE-Ti-Nb-O6 (REÂ =Â Dy, Er, Gd, Yb) samples are synthesized through modified combustion process.
- The structural studies show that the samples are single phase with orthorhombic euxenite structure.
- The samples are well sintered with minimum porosity at 1250 °C for 2 h.
- Complex impedance plot reveals that the grains and grain boundaries are responsible in the conduction mechanism.
- The samples can be made useful in high permittivity applications and in optoelectronics.
