Abstract
A dynamically symmetrical rigid body suspended on a string is considered. The suspension point performs periodic oscillations. The loss of stability of the system when it performs high-frequency rotations around the axis of dynamic symmetry is investigated. The sufficient conditions for loss of stability are obtained.
