Abstract
The relation between powder morphology and compressibility of the Cu/SiCp composite powder was investigated as a function of milling time. With the milling time increase, the dentritic copper powder became flattened, which subsequently became spherical shaped. The compressibility of powders experienced mechanical alloying changes with the powder morphology and is in accordance with the compaction equation proposed by Panelli and Ambrozio Filho.
