Abstract
This paper proposes an off-grid PV cooling system with TSES combing BS and CWST and investigates the influence of battery efficiency, tank insulation and chiller schedule on system efficiency and storage capacity. TRNSYS is employed to study the specific performance of this system. The results indicate that, in comparison with SBS and SCWST, the proposed TSES can rise system efficiency by 6.73% and 10.27% under convex cooling load while by 7.16% and 10.50% under ascending one.
